"Gimme More" is the first single from Britney Spears' fifth studio album, Blackout (2007). The song was generally well-received by music critics. However, when Spears performed the song at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards, many critics were very critical of her performance, including poor lip-synching and inability to remember her choreography.
