"Only Happy When It Rains" was a breakthrough single released from Garbage's 1995 self-titled debut album. Upon it's worldwide release in 1996, the song charted strongly in the Billboard Hot 100, and propelled its parent album into the Top 100 of the Billboard 200. The song was later remastered in 2007 for the band's greatest hits album Absolute Garbage.
