"Gives You Hell" is the first single from The All-American Rejects' 2008 album, When the World Comes Down. Released as a digital song on September 30, 2008, the song debuted at #74 on the Hot Digital Songs chart. On October 7, it was officially released to Top 40 Radio. It is currently #6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, making this the band's most successful song.
