"Halo" is the third single by American R&B singer Beyoncé from her third studio album, I Am...Sasha Fierce. The song was released on January 20, 2009 to generally positive reviews. Beyoncé performed the song for the first time at the NAACP awards where she also won Outstanding Female Artist, and was nominated for 4 other awards, including Outstanding Album, Outstanding Song and Outstanding Music Video for both "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)"
