"Under the Bridge" is the second single by the American alternative rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers, from the group's fifth studio album Blood Sugar Sex Magik, released on March 10, 1992. The song became a critical and commercial success, peaking at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and later won the "Viewer's Choice Award" and "Breakthrough Video" at the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards.
