"Wind It Up" was released as the first single from Gwen Stefani's second solo album The Sweet Escape (2006). The song features yodeling to the tune of "The Lonely Goatherd" from The Sound of Music (1965). Although receiving generally negative reviews by contemporary pop music critics, the song has charted favorably across the world.
