"Ironic" was the fourth single from Alanis Morissette's third album Jagged Little Pill (1995). The single became Morissette's biggest hit. The video was nominated for six MTV Video Music Awards in 1996, and won three: Best Female Video, Best New Artist, and Best Editing.
