"Black Hole Sun" was a song by the American alternative rock band Soundgarden. Released as the third single from the album Superunknown (1994), it is arguably the band's most recognizable and most popular song. The song topped the Billboard Mainstream Rock Tracks chart. The song would later appear on the band's greatest hits compilation album, A-Sides (1997).
