"The Diary of Jane" is the first single from the Breaking Benjamin album Phobia
, released in 2006. The single was the #1 most-added track at three formats: Modern Rock, Active Rock and Rock. The song was streamed from the band's MySpace over 160,000 times in two weeks of its release to the Internet. The success of the song led it to be featured in the video game NASCAR 07. It was also featured in the 2008 movie Step Up 2: The Streets
