"Work It" is the first single from American rapper/singer Missy Elliott's critically acclaimed fourth studio album Under Construction (2002). The song was written by Missy and her producer Timbaland. The track reached the number two position on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, becoming her most successful single to date. The music video went on to win the MTV Best Video of the Year for 2003.
