"Take My Breath Away" is the third single by American pop singer Jessica Simpson from her 2004 album In This Skin. Simpson chose to cover this song because she felt that it was the theme song of her relationship with her then husband, Nick Lachey. The song became a number-twenty hit on the Billboard Hot 100, as well as a top ten hit on the Top 40 Tracks and the Top 40 Mainstream charts.
