"Bad Day" is the first single from Canadian singer Daniel Powter's self-titled debut album. During the fifth season of American Idol, the song was played with a video of the contestant's journey on the show whenever they were voted off. The song became the number one song of the year for 2006 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
