"Love Lockdown" is the first single by American hip hop artist Kanye West from his upcoming album 808s & Heartbreak, expected to be released on December 16. He debuted the song at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 8. The music video premiered on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday, October 7, 2008. The song debuted at number three on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, West's highest debut of his career.
